Gross Goods and Services Tax collections reached one point nine four lakh crore rupees in June, a thirteen point nine percent increase year on year. The increase was primarily driven by a thirty-four point six percent jump in GST revenue from imports, reaching sixty thousand thirty-eight crore rupees, while gross domestic GST revenue also rose by six point five percent. Net GST collections in June, after accounting for refunds, increased by eleven point two percent year on year to one lakh sixty-two thousand three hundred seventy-seven crore rupees.
